Country names for sale?

Does anyone know whether or not the new TLD's sell CountryNames.TLD ?

I remember during the .asia auction the asian country names were not available. Any thought or info on that?

Are all the new TLD's banned from selling nationality + major city + country names?

I think that's the prerogative of each TLD of whether they want to reserve those words or not. You'd probably have to check the policies of each.
