I am wondering if buying an aged and parked domain helps you bypass the sandbox affect?

For clarity sake, lets say the aged domain is 5 years old and the domain has been parked for a year.

My answer, from experience, is yes, no and maybe sometimes.
But I wouldn't want anyone to depend on that answer when making a decision. :P (Sorry, but the obtuse answer correlates with experience.)
I'd look for exact match domains. I'd look at Archive.org for any history. I'd scan for any existing BS, and the occassional (rare) good link(s) to parked domains. I might even look to see if the domain lander was nicely domain-topic optimized versus loaded with off-topic links/contents.
I wouldn't attribute much weight/value to it being a 5 year old domain.
