Site keeps disappearing after name server change

Hello. Just wondering if anyone knows if this is normal...
i recently changed my webhost, but kept the domain names in the same place, so i swapped over the name servers.

it's been a day and a half now since i swapped it, and sometimes i can access my site okay, and sometimes i can't. this morning for example it looked fine, but then suddenly reverted back to the parking page as if the nameservers hadn't been changed -- during the same session.

i know that it wasn't a browser caching issue, because my homepage contains today's date.

i'm using sky broadband and i know that they change my IP every now and then, so i'm wondering if they suddenly routed me through something else mid-session that maybe hadn't got round to updating the nameservers yet. sounds a bit wierd to me, though.

I've had that happen the first day or so after changes started propogating.
It clears up quite quickly - give it another day and it should be gone...
