If we have purchased many domains and they are all pointing to the same site, does that lead to spamming.

Why not park the domains youre not using?

Well I think its part of Google Adsense policy where you can not FW domains/websites to a page with Google ads to generate revenue.

I assume they are all widget keyword domains therefore are you pointing them from your registrars so that when someone types in widgetkeyword1 then it automatically goes straight to your example.com site?

If so, that's not spamming, that's a sensible practice and most registrars do not charge for this service.

Or have you constructed one splash page and uploaded it to every keyword domain with all on site links pointing towards example.com?

That's not spamming however it's very unlikely these days. especially with Google, that they'll rank anywhere except towards the end of the SERPs.

This is an old trick that many of us have used in the past as soon as we bought domains to develop and avoid wasting time with launching a new site. It doesn't really work very well at all now even if you have tweaked the titlebar, tags and on-page content, the engines are mostly too sophisticated to be caught out.

Thanks for the information. What I finally get from the discussion that it is a waste to purchase so many domains and point them all towards one site, example.com. It is better to do the SEO of a site with just one domain...
