If the names were achieving their intended goal to capture stray traffic, then they wouldn't be up for sale. They are really worthless for any other purpose besides the typosquat traffic, so I'd pass on these names.

with google replacing the address bar, I agree that they don't work any more. They might have once, but today I see most people (non-IT-people) just type "ebay" into google and click on the sponsored link on top or the first result to get to the ebay-page, they don't even type the domain anymore.
These names are typosquats that rely on people accidentally leaving out the period between the www and the name. For example, if a person intended to type "www.example.com" but accidentally typed "wwwexample.com"I should have thought of that. That makes sense.

Also, I was thinking that many people like myself dont type in www anymore in the URL box, I just type in example.tld so im not sure how valuable wwwExample.tld would be considering that people are becoming more impatient every day, so the shorter, the better.
