Hello!

I am new to web designing.

someone doesn't want the IP address of his website to be seen by anyone. Instead of it, only domain name should appear on the status bar.

He also wants to hide name servers (name servers info shouldn't be available through who's look up).

Is there any facility given in the control panel?

Please help!

Fortunately no.

The domain registrar should be able to hide whois information but there may be a charge. However, I believe some domain extensions require whois information to be visible (but I'm not certain).

I don't think there is even a theoretical possibility of hiding the name-server (but I could be wrong).

The IP address should never be displayed in the address bar in practice, however, you could detect it and perform a redirect either on the server or by using javascript on the client. Pretty pointless though!

So far as I am aware, there is no easy way to hide the IP address from reverse-lookup tools and there is no legitimate reason to try to do so.

kaled is correct, you can hide most domain name whois info, except for .us domains (that I am aware of)

The IP would never be displayed in the users address, unless a someone specifically put it there, or you used it somewhere in your site building.

On a shared host, there can be many many sites per IP, so typing an IP may not even return your site.
