Easier to type? Property.

More frequent "hit" in G's index? Property.

Property works for multiple instances. When I say "I own property in Elbonia" that could mean multiple units or multiple types, as well as the singular.

I'd lean towards "location + property".

I see your point, but I search for "X properties" as I want to see multiples (not that it matters since all sites have more than one property) but...

People also search for "property in . . "

What do you call all the stuff inside your house? My property or my properties?

I'm not married to one over the other, but for type-ins, outdoor signs, etc. property is . . cleaner? Ya, properties inherently suggests that "there's more than one" but . . .

Properties almost sounds unnatural. If you owned 3 houses in CityX would you be more likely to say "I own properties in CityX" or would you say "I own property in CityX"? Do you say "He own's a lot of property" or "He owns a lot of properties"?

Is it real estate or real estates? I think the British got it right by simplifying it to estate or estates.

Would I pay more for Property.tld or Properties.tld? Probably more for Property.tld.

You're doomed, unless your doomed, or unless you can acquire both. :p

on addition:

"I own properties in CityX"

"I own 4 properties in Cali" is used though.
"Did you find any properties (or homes) to buy? "
'I checked 5 properties and didn't like them'

People use property/ies and homes almost interchangeably when talking about real estate. 0.5% probably want land. Maybe I should just use the homes.tld

mine is to target foreign buyers so type ins will be almost non-existent, since not everyone remembers the .tld. It's all a Google /search engine /how it looks to prospective clickers thing.

It's too late for both, but I have a few more top names related to the same subject and of course the translations.

I might also get .com.tld to see if foreigners trust it more. If you search from UK maybe you think that they .tld is for locals.

When in doubt get both and foreward the longer version to the shorter, you not only ensure grabbing the best but you also stop future problems if someone tries to move into your turf.
