Hi all,

Hoping someone might throw opinions my way on this situation please.

<Removed domain specifics)

I received a letter from the lawyer for saying I was infringing upon their trademark. Their site sells <snip> My site sells nothing at all. Just gives good information.

They request I immediately transfer ownership of my site to them which I think is ridiculous. Any advice is appreciated on how to proceed.
Thanks

[edit reason] Per Charter "specific domain" trademark law threads are not allowed [/edit]

Hello tikitex. Welcome to WebmasterWorld.

We don't discuss specific domain name trademark issues, as explained in this forum's Charter. One reason is that anything you post in a public forum may be used against you in a court of law. Another reason is that we're (mostly) not lawyers.

Here's a few past threads I suggest you read for ideas how to proceed:

Usually when they get a lawyer you better take a hard look at the name has nothing to do with what they sell.

webwork sent you some good reads
