Save yourself a few bucks by renewing a day or two early.
Note that some registrars may be jacking up their price a day early.
Since VeriSign has gotten approval to raise prices each year (by 7% annually and they own .com FOREVER) if you know the domain name is going to be used for years, buy as many years as you can (up to 10) for max savings. They won't get any cheaper than now.
