Hi, I spent hours on google and still not able to find a reliable source for domain counts of most ccTLDs(and counts on gTLDs seems to be inconsistent too). Also is there a common sense of their value rankings? appreciated!

ccTLD values tend to favor the more developed countries: .de, co.uk, etc. You can get a handle of values by looking at DNJournal's domain sale's archives. I consider DNJournal to be "the first authority" and everyone else merely parrots - so I don't favor promoting the services that regurgitate Ron Jackson's efforts. Go to the source and spend some time reading DNJournal's weekly sales reports.
So far as "domain counts" I've never been able to find a real need for that type of information. What really counts is knowing what makes a domain desirable "in and of itself".

We have some graphs comparing the size of TLDs (by usage and by registration numbers) Send a PM if you want a link because a link would be against T&C of Webmasterworld.
