Does anybody value these at all?

I would prefer the .com or .co.uk even .info but all are taken.

What are your views?

My main site is a .net and for me it seems to work fine. For me there is little difference other than maybe type-in traffic between a .com and .net.

If your chosen name is available as .net then snap it up as fast as you can.

A lot of major companies that couldn't get the .com or share the name with other companies use the .net.

This is of course if you are planning to develop the domain.

If it's just for resale and it hasn't been registered yet then the chances are you are not going to sell it.

Regards.

And regarding serach engine results, the .net TLD is a global extension so the only thing that will affect your search results is the site content.
