My client has a modest-sized (ok, small) business and has a second business name for a new service. (Widgets, Inc. announces its new subsidiary company, PWidgets Inc., which offers purple widgets.)
The client wants one page on the original Widgets Inc. site to promote the new company & purple widgets. We bought the PWidgets.com domain from godaddy, but is it possible to point that domain name not to the Widgets Inc home page but to another page on that widgets.com? Or do we need to buy web hosting for this miniscule one-page "site"?
If you have a control panel look up URL Forwarding.
If you can't find it tell your registrar what you want to do and they should do it for you.
Some include this for free, some charge a small amount.
I have no experience of the Godaddy control panel.
