The company I work for are currently in a despute with a another company who are no longer legally trading.

Basically they had the license to sell this widget, and we had the license to manufacture the widget now - due to poor sales performance we have the rights to both sell and manufacture the widget.

The original company owns the domain for the widget, (.ie) and (.co.uk) and is out performing us on google. The original company who provides the license owns widget (.com).

Where would we stand to challenge for the domains (.ie and .co.uk)?

You should be talking to your attorney instead of asking it here, especially since there are potential contract terms in question.
