And perhaps evocative of it's purpose, without using a bunch of keywords. I think you can stretch it to include ONE keyword and some made-up word or slang.
Let's say it's a site about pet supplies.
A pure keyword domain would be petsupplies.tld, pet-supplies.tld, or bestpetsupplies.tld. Here's the problem with this approach: was it bestpetsupplies or greatpetsupplies, or betterpetsupplies? Will users remember?
A brandable name might be fripple.tld. But that doesn't make you think of pet supplies.
So, maybe petfripple.tld. Or petquick.tld or petzoom.tld, say if you specialize in quick shipment.
They aren't exactly keyword domains, but they still suggest what they are about.
If you're in Australia, maybe waggeroo.tld.
