According to Ron Jackson/DNjournal.com (latest domain sales report) the german domain name Casino.de has recently been sold for €400,000 making it the second most expencive german domain name ever - apparently Poker.de sold for €695,000 back in 2007.

Have you started picking up international domain names?

I find it very informative to look at the top 100 charts - not only for information about a price level, but also for inspiration for locating interesting niches.

It's appears to me, from reading Ron's weekly reports of domain sales, that there has been considerable appreciation of ccTLD values in the past 2-3 years, giving .Com some competition each week for "top sales".

Does anyone know the highest value sales in other ccTLDs? (No hotlinks, please, but we can delve a bit into specifics.) Is there a trend across ccTLDs? Highest sales in casino, sex, medication, real estate . . or does each ccTLD have its "special interest"? (I somewhat doubt it. Sex appears to be a universal constant . . unless outlawed . . and I'm not sure how well that works. :-P )

What say ye .co.uk? .it? .es? co.in? .cn?

Does it "make sense" that English language words in non-English ccTLD nations should be rising in value?

Are native language keyword domains rising equally in value?

Has domainer fever now fully infected the ccTLD market?

Moderator's Note: I'd rather we not linger on specific domains too much in this thread, particularly online gaming domain names, but we certainly can open things up a bit to discuss how other ccTLDs are starting to show higher sales and what other industries - captured in "domain words" - are showing the greatest promise across various nations.
