Domain Transfer Problem…

Domains state that they are locked when they are not...

We have approximately ten domains we are requesting be transferred from their current registrar to our registrar account. Upon initial transfer request, we received a Transaction ID & a Security Code for each domain. We also received Authorization codes from the registrar that currently handles these domains.

After attempting to Transfer these domains, by entering the proper codes, we are presented with the following:

Status: Pending Unlock or Hold Release
Recommended Action: Unlock domain at current registrar, then Retry Transfer

The problem is that the current registrar for these domains has checked and double checked that these domains are not locked. When we attempt to reissue the transfer request and submit the data, we receive the same response.

Has anyone dealt with this? What can we do to get these domains transferred?

How does the status appear on a (neutral) whois site?

What I've done, with that glitch, and other transfer glitches ("invalid" auth codes) is to call my (gaining) registrar. They were always able to bump the process along.

Try giving your (gaining) registrar a call!

I am having a similar problem with Enom right now where I go into the CP and unlock the names (and verify it) but when I try the transfer again they are somehow mysteriously relocked. This happens over and over again on a daily basis and is ongoing. Very annoying and frustrating. Anyone else experience this or know what to do?
