I was told that if I own a trademark, I will definitely own the mytrademark.asia

I applied for a trademark a few days ago but the process takes at least 5-6 months. Do you think I still have right over anyone else in owning myfuturetrademark.asia?

Any explanation on the process of buying .Asia domains? I was told that I need to apply for domains but wont know whether I own them or not until Feb 20, 2008! I was told that the .Asia is based on first come, first serve however, if you own a trademark you get the priority of purchasing that domain name!

I am a bit confused, and curious how it works, especially that I am a bit impatient to wait until 2/20/2008 to see the results and have already spent over $1000 on domains.

p.s. dont be scared to give some hints and useful information! I wont buy any more .asia domains! Im outta money! ;)

The sunrise period expired January 15 2008. You had to apply for a domain with your trademark during that period. In order to apply for a domain name during the sunrise period your trademark must be registered be to December 2006.
