Hello friends,

If i place my .ins in an auction will that grab some end users to my domains?

So far i didnt feel that any potential end users track to my website.

I need an opinion on this.

My next idea is to register some .info domains and auction them. So only i need an idea to proceed further.

Hello fourwings. Welcome to WebmasterWorld.

I suspect any action that gains "mind share" (awareness, attention, etc) is likely to bring some traffic. It will be unlikely, however, that such traffic will buy domains at aftermarket prices.

If you are the registrant of really good domains - ones worth an aftermarket premium price - people will connect with you. Just don't hide behind an anonymous WhoIs record. :)

If you want to see how bad most domains perform you don't have to look that far. Most forums that allow members to post domains show very very few sales in comparison to all the domains listed.

Take your time. Understand your market. Don't rush to register domains until you gain some aftermarket expertise. See what is selling and why and at what price and be certain your "sales data" is valid, not just hype.
