Are you able to log in to your account at GoDaddy?

In many cases all you'd need to do would be log in to your account and enter the new information.

WIth some country-specific domains extra steps are required.

As buckwords said, you change your information from within your GoDaddy account. The Whois information will then be automatically updated.

If you are confused about how to change your information in your account, you can either call or email Support at Go Daddy. They will be glad to assist you.

Yep. Godaddy has 24/7 support so if you don't know your username/password, after answering several questions they can give it to you or you probably can just make the change with them over the phone after you've verified your identification.

Eventhough you have changed the WHOIS informstion, the previuos informstion can be visible from #*$! but it shows the latest info for other general whois sites.

He likely said "X X X" (without the spaces). There is a filter in the forums that changes X's (I guess cuz triple X is associated w/ porn) to a bunch of garbage characters.
