Microsoft has sued domain name registrar Red Register claiming that it is illegally profiting from Microsoft's trademarks.

An instance of registrars becoming domainers or more likely domainers becoming registrars.

Currently there is a point at which if you own x domains it is cheaper to become a registrar than to go through an existing registrar. Some big league domainers are exploiting this loophole to their own benefit.

By loophole you mean running their own registrar? While it so happens many cater to end-users, no registrar is required to do so.

Just being nitpicky. Feel free to let me know if I missed something. :P

Okay it isn't really a loophole, but it was just that I needed a way of describing the situation quickly and in easy to understand terms.
