I'm looking for a registrar that can register domains for me in many/all countries worldwide. Currently I'm using Melbourne IT corporate for this and am looking to change to a company that can offer a greater level of service.

Any advice on a registrar that can offer good service and help me protect a brand would be much appreciated.

Hi Karl. Welcome to the Domain Forum.

As a general rule we avoid "tell me about a company that offers (whatever service)" threads as they often serve as "thin cover" for forum spamming. (Check the Charter link, above, for more info)

But . . what's the point of moderation if not to disregard one's own rules, now and then, to see if there's any new intelligence to be gained from threads that usually get tossed.

So . . anyone have any new insights into registrars that cover "all countries"?

My apologies - I've never been great at following rules and I do appreciate if they are occasionally bent.

I see this as a genuine problem. How do you protect a brand globally and register all the domains through the one place? I suppose it's possible to run around through 10 or 12 different registrars to do this but come renewal time something is sure to be missed (which is not really good for the brand protection I'm after).

There's none, of course. Some are just too cost-prohibitive.

There are at least 2 registrars I know that cater to brand protection. But it'll
cost more than the usual $8 to $10 a year many of us are used to.

You either do it yourself or pay someone (sometimes a "premium") to do it for
you. YMMV.

Thanks David,

Yes, I too am aware that it's not going to cost $10 per domain and I'm ok with that. What's the best way for me to find these companies that do brand protection without further bending the WebmasterWorld rules?

Thanks in advance..
