Is this domain good enough?

Hey guys, i'm simply looking for some advice on a domain that I'll be using. I like it but I thought I'd reach out to experts to make sure I was making a wise choice... domain is [example - misspelled but phonetically recognizable]dot com.
Of course, it's not the word [example] but I was thinking that by matching it with a slogan that made the K and Z stand out in my domain, then people would remember it.
What do you guys think? thanks! :)

It could work okay as long as you stick to promoting it in contexts where it will be seen, not heard.

It wouldn't work in a radio ad or on your telephone answering message without a lot of extra verbiage to explain it.

The downside is that if there's visitor confusion, the 'correct' site will get the benefit; plus the risk that you'll always be seen as a 'me too' site.

But weighing against that is having the opportunity to use a shorter domain name than an 'original' would probably be, and one word rather than the two you'd need in most niches these days. Plus if it really is 'clever', then it will stick in people's minds.

I have a couple of such domains, but neither were a first choice; always worth a couple of hours checking what good solid .coms are still untouched ... you'd be surprised.

And I got one of my 4-character 'clever' names on ebay for $20.00 - including shipping ;)

Two weeks later, I failed to win a nice five-letter domain (bidding topped $25.00), but the auction got my mind working, and I got a correct alternative spelling (brand new) instead.

This isn't just self-ego-boosting (OK, mostly), my message is to look at ALL the options; there's never just one right answer.

Thanks guys, I opted for a more original name :)
I had one or two domains stuck in my head and couldn't think of anything else so I sat down with 3 friends and brainstormed until we found a great one that was available online!
