No luck.
I'm afraid spammers have done a lot of harm to the .info gTLD as a result of the recurring $.99 "sales". $.99 domains are known as discardable domains. The first time they ran a .info domain special huge numbers were registered - free. Then, on cue, one year later an equal number lapsed. They're doing the same again.
Sometimes I think the .info registry is running in survival mode, when they keep running specials. If they keep doing so, and if each special is followed by a period of .info spamming, I think they will slowly grind the .info gTLD registry into the ground.
Still, there are a few noteworthy aftermarket .info domain sales, from time to time, so it ain't all bad. ;-P
But see for yourself. Set Google to 100 results and then search the SERPs for any .info based websites. My guess is that unless you are primed and know where to search you will have a hard time getting a hit for a .info website in the first 100 results.

Shopping, Celebrity,
There's some great .info domains they're just not making an appearance . . except in my email and in Google Adwords.
