I have a website I had developed and is almost fully functional. It has a catchy domain name, nice concept. But it is during the promotion phase of the website that I have started realizing that probably I do not know how to promote my website and maybe I need to sell it off.

I have spent around $700 in paying my designer and I would definitely would want to give a lot many bucks to myself for the idea itself. But I am not sure how to go about selling this site since it has 0 PR, little traffic.

I am also apprehensive about competition cropping up when I give my site details to potential sellers. How do I then go about the whole process of selling the website.

Thanks in advance for your advices.

As you should, if the site can be reproduced for $700.

At this point, with no track record, I think your site is worth what it cost to develop, plus some premium because the new owner will not have any development-related delay.

Figure out what your own time is worth and price it accordingly.

Anybody will to pay much more would be better off to just develop their own site.
