Buying Canadian .ca domains

Anyone know where I can register .ca domains cheap? Any sites have only a one year at a time commitment? Thanks! the $85 USD at <removed> seems kinda steep - any advice is appreciated!

We can't recommend specific registrars, but you should always buy .ca domains directly from a CIRA-certified registrar, as they are the only companies officially allowed to sell .ca domains. CIRA offers a full list and a search facility on their website:

$85USD is far too much to pay, you will find several registrars offering domains from $12 to $20 (CAD) per year. You can purchase domains for one year only. Note that you must meet the registration requirements for .ca domains (Canadian citizenship, permanent residency or other acceptable Canadian presence).
