New market?

"NEW YORK - Besides leaving the hospital with a birth certificate and a clean bill of health, baby Mila Belle Howells got something she won't likely use herself for several years: her very own Internet domain name."

I know I bought a domain name for my son after he was born. Quite handy for keeping all of the relatives informed too!

Sites for babies is probably a nice little niche actually :)

That's probabaly not uncommon now, I did that with my sister's son earlier this year. :)

The hard part is trying to find a domain for my family since my last name is a popular keyword. :)

A little late to the party, aren't they? ;)

I've been giving away newborn domain names now for gifts since before 2000. All of my clients have been doing it now too. It has to be one of the "biggest bang for the buck gifts" you could give a newborn. They won't realize it until that time comes. ;)
