Domains in your face!

They are still there, great buys and dead obvious

Bought a domain yesterday after having the thought I have nearly every time I search for a new domain "this one has got to be taken."

When I see it unregistered I almost think someones going to snatch it up in minutes so I usually click and buy, thinking later if it was good or not.

After that comes a few minutes of buyers remorse (yeah on $8) and then the domain goes in the pile... to be developed.

A domain I bought last year has recently had a surge in type in traffic and is doing rather well ad wise. It sounded like a silly name at the time but now it's becoming a common search term. Gotta love that.

The moral here is there are still great domains out there to be had, if that's your gig.

What I have is "lapsing remorse". Pay for a domain and renewals for five years
with big plans for it. Finally decide to let it go. Then some one snaps it up and I have this big "uh oh" moment. Like I let a good one get away(again).

Oh well, the sun will come up tomorrow no matter what!...KF
