Hey guys:)
I was wondering if anyone can use a .info or a .org for their site as a redirect?

Q.1.Do you have to qualify to use certain extensions?

Currently i have a .com but would like to get all the rest of the extensions for redirects and to protect from anyone else using the domain with a different extension.

>>I will sell a product and also have articles on the site.

Q.2. Does anyone know a url with info on using .org
and .info extensions? What type of site qualifies
for it's use. *searched for information but can't find any.

Q.3. What advice do you guys have on using the extensions? Which ones can i use and not get into any trouble for using them?

Thanks for your help guys:)
Please answer each question:)

from what i see in the SERPs, you shall not bother.
just grab the domains you want and make the Net a worse and spammier place

Some (such as .ca) have restrictions, but not .org or .info.

For the authoritative word on what's allowed, see the registry for the domain you're interested in, e.g. google for 'org registry'.

For .org, it's the Public Interest Registry (PIR).
For, .info, it's Afilias.
