Microsoft very recently registered <a variety of unusual domains>

Is there new partnership in works here? I can't figure out what "minitie" is, but "CRM" is tick symbol for SalesForce, however MS does have it's own Dynamic CRM (Customer Relationship Management)

MS and "dogfood"? talk about expansion to other fields and sales channels :) (just kidding)

Hi Tastatura. Sorry about the edit. We just try to avoid specifics, even related to big companies.

I've seen a growing number of what I'd call "defensive registrations" during the past year+. There may companies acting as consultants in this practice. There may even be new edicts, within companies, to "spend a few dollars" to fend off squatters by registering domains before announcements are made. Better to spend $9.00 than $2,000+ filing with WIPO.

It's even within the realm of possibility that someone pretending to be a company could register a domain using their WhoIs details. There are lots of fake WhoIs records.
