Generic domain, different country and owner.

Suppose that somebody have "www.genericdomainname.com" (not a brand of course)and i want to register "www.genericdomainname.com.ar" or "...com.uy" there is some problem with that?

So long as it is generic, no problem at all; however, except for local business (eg ar or uy), the .com has certain advantages.

Either way, you'd be wise to be quite sure before investing in the name.
