I currently have a domain name, and it's due to run out on aorund the 25th march. The registra won't release it to me due to a billing dispute.
Just wondering if I can extend the registration with another proivder or if I just have to pay them what they are asking for?
Any help appreciated, thanks

If you have a billing dispute with your registrar or reseller, it's unlikely you will have any satisfaction until the billing dispute is resolved. Concentrate on that first.

If the domain is unlocked, you can transfer it to another registrar. If they have locked it they have you by the, well you know what and you have to pay.
If you do have to pay, unlock and trasfer away all your domains asap.

cheers guys, it is locked so they do have me by the.
hate having to cough up money when they are trying to be a bit sneaky, they added several bits on to my order such as hosting etc.
