I've never heard of Vector Capital, but now I'm interested. Vector Capital recently acquired Broadvision Inc., a B2B supplier of solutions for web based transactions and interactions (clients include Toyota, US Air Force, HP...).

Press release here [home.businesswire.com].

A VenCap firm, it seems. Makes sense for big companies to scoop up registrars to protect their domains more easily and get more leverage in resolving issues quicker.

We'll be seeing more of 'em as time goes by. I actually hope there'll be more registrar M&A's to narrow down the choices. :D
