Parked domain with PR3?

How odd is that?

I was just going through and checking some domains I have parked with one of the big parking cos to see what ads they were showing. I noticed that one of my parked domains has a PR of 3! This really shocked me since this was an expired domain that I purchased just a couple of months ago and I thought that G$ nixed the PR on all domains that expire.

Was someone with good PR crazy enough to add a link to my parked domain recently or did I just get lucky and G$ missed one?

In have recently deleted domains with higher than pr3.
I don't really think it means much beyond the green bar.
They are not parked but they are hosted.

Since I have quite a few domains parked, awaiting development, I was just surprised that this one had PR.

I had always thought PR reset to 0 with expiration.
