Freeparking seem to have been down for the last few days. and i've got some domains expiring soon and I'm starting to get a bit worried, does any one know anything?, or are in the same boat, or what to do if they are still down when I need to renew?

Which site are you trying to access? co.uk and co.nz are both up for me. If you still can't access the site or your account, try contacting them via e-mail, snail mail or phone support via their whois info - if you don't have their contact info and still can't access the site. Also check out ICANN for more information on this. If all else fails try this [reports.internic.net ]

hp11,

Thanks, it's the .co.uk site I'm trying to access. Strange you can but I can't. Could it be my ISP? I'll have to try from a different one.

Cheers

It might actually be your ISP. I had the same problem with my previous broadband provider. After I contacted a level three technician, I was told that if a certain ip address (including an ip range) is on their spam list - they block access to that ip/ip range.

I was also told that once blocked, it couldn't be unblocked. I only discovered this because I was searching for a new host. In so doing, I asked to ping a working site and the test sites they gave me to ping all came back unsuccessful. Yet their tech support e-mailed me the successful ping results immediately after I tried mine.

The end result was finding a new broadband home. Hopefully everything will work out on your end. Good luck!

Hi,

Just for info, I have had no problems getting to their .co.uk site either, and actually renewed a domain on mine with them only a few days ago.
