Does anyone have an opinion on this?
Does anyone know of any possible benefits it could have with regards to SEO and the possibility of the SE's favoring the new domain name?
The only obvious benefit would come from finding a more perfect "keyword rich" domain name(if you can't get it in .com or .net)for your Seo campaign.
Personally I think there is a lot of hype going on with new tld's and I'm afraid it's all about making new tld sellers wealthy more than anything else.
Sure looks that way doesn't it? Obviously though, it does open up some new ground to snag your name that someone else got before you in the .com's and .net's
