Hi,
I have just looked up my site at whoisthis and have noticed that the SSL Certificate is listed to a radio shop in Oklahoma or somewhere. I have not set any SSLs, is this a hack into my site? Why should someone want to do this and how do I get rid of them?

Any help much appreciated.

no this is the right place,

i am not sure what you mean?

when you say you looked up your site at whoisthis what do you mean?

you did a who is lookup somewhere, where did you do this?

i'm confused, unless the secure certificate is some kind of shared thing your host provides - but even that doesn't make sense.

are you otherwise listed as owning the domain?
are you listed as the admin contact?

I would contact your host and see what they say. It might be their fault.

Hi, sorry about posting in the wrong place. I did a look up for my domain name to check, I was having a problem with another one, so decided to look this one up at the same time. It is registered to me, I do not have the security thing so my name appears on the registration. I noticed under the SSL Cert there was a website listed that was this on-line radio sales site. I don't know how he got there.

i think you must be confused by something (or i am)

a regular whois look up does not say anything about ssl

here is an example of a who is lookup

whois webmasterworld.com [reports.internic.net]

are you sure you are not talking about some other service?

Hi, sorry I get confused. It was a domain look up service which shows the registration company, my web host, owner, me administrator, me and shows other things like is it active or locked etc., and one listing was SSL Cert which was this radio seller that I haven't a clue who he is nor what he is doing attatched to my domain.

Thanks for the advice, I will try to get something out of them although their support is less than helpful, I get the feeling that you are imposing on them.

Kindest Regards
