Expired Domain Name - Is it gone already?

Hi!

I register my domains at <snip> and they always provided me with great support but just now they are not responding to my emails anymore and I have an important domain wich is expired and am unable to register it via their registration system.

Does anyone know if it is possible to get the domain back as the previous owner? Or will I need to backorder it and compete with other users who might be interested in the domain? I already setup a backorder at pool.com (i tried to backorder <snip> once, and it went to a pool.com user).

Have you attempted to call them by phone, fax them, call the phone number listed in the WhoIs for the domain used by the company, etc.?

Sometimes email gets blocked.

I would exhaust all other means before throwing in the towel.

You can bid for the domain on the drop but that's a means of last resort.
