Transferred Domain, but old registrar web forwarding works.

Ok, I transferred my domain and the transfer went through. My new registrar shows the domain in the list and let's me change my DNS servers and create my A record. The problem is that my old registrar's web forwarding still works. My new registrar has web forwarding (which I wont need anymore) for 12 dollars a year, so I dont think that it was passed over. Is there something I need to do, should I email my old registrar and have them stop or what? Is this a case of my old registrar not transferring quite yet?

If the transfer was complete yesterday, does that mean it is working properly now?

Nothing working right now, its still pointing to the old forward address from my old registrar. I made changes to the new registrar yesterday but for some reason Im still getting the old registrars URL forwarding.

Just a hunch: contact the old registrar and see if they'll cancel the web forwarding, especially
if it's set to autorenew. Also make sure your domain isn't using the old registrar's DNS.

I would definitely contact your old registrar and see what might be the problem. Also check the name servers on a few different websites to make sure they are reporting properly

Okay, human error on my part. The new register was pointing to our server, and amazingly I set up the same exact page on the new server as I did on the old server, so of course to me it looked like the old registrar was still working.

Luckily I noticed this before I emailed my new registrar asking for help. Thanks to everyone who replied here, its greatly appreciated!
