Have yor managed to register your familyname.tld?

My family name is totally non-competetive so I ended up with half a dozen familtyname.com, .net etc. mostly because I didn't want anybody else to have them.

Now I'm thinking about ways to use them. I use a country-tld for private pictures etc. and the .com for commercial projects. But what to do with all the rest? 301 them to the commercial site? 302?

For a while in the past some of the names were resolving to the same site and Google was treating them all as one site and it took a long time for the .com to become a separate site in Google and I'd like to avoid that with the other doamins.

Interesting question.

Maybe let the kids or grandkids or grandparents or uncles and aunts have a blog? Sort of a web family circle or family link network?

I'd be inclined to play with them. There's plenty of time for serious business with other domain names.
