Network Solutions seems to be offering 100 year domain name registrations. Is this available only for new domains or for transfers too? Would it be a good idea to move all domains to them considering this new draconian contract that may get approved.

What they do is register the domain for the maximum number of years (10 at most registries) and then renew it annually until your 100 years are up.
The service is non-transferable and non-refundable.
I don't know what the fine print is, and whether you would be covered if, for example, the central registry raises the prices that NetSol pays.
