Ok, I am pretty much new to this but I am a quick learner and all I really need is a push in the right direction.

I have a domain which I want to host of my box which is running XP. I have Apache running on it, the basics. Now, what I want to do is setup nameservers on this box. Can anyone just give me a nudge in the right direction as to how to do this.

Thanks.

It is sometimes a lot easier to use your reg as your dns provider.

That way you can simply point the ip to your box without having to worry about setting up name servers localy.

Your reg companies control panel will usualy let you administer your dns.

Be sure to understand what you are doign before you do it. Altering the dns can break your services.
