Hello moeen and welcome to WebmasterWorld.

So, you're starting out on your domain career? Perhaps the best way to start is to become familiar with the search terms that relate to the industry.

Have you used Google or any other search engine to search for domain names for sale? [google.com]

You might also search:

  • domain aftermarket
  • domain name auction
  • domain auction
  • domain resellers
  • domain forum

To the usual cast of characters :0) : Have I missed any of the popular search terms? Put 'em up.

Just so you know, moeen, this forum is more about teaching someone to fish than handing them a fist. I could list other websites but I'd rather teach you how to find the whole galaxy of websites. Take some time and explore them all, to find which offer the best information suited to your situation.

Now, to hand you a fish platter:

Sedo
Afternic
GreatDomains (small pickings)
Various domain name forums

You're best bet, if you are hunting for domains, is to go direct: Select your market, find your registrants, see what they're doing with their domains and contact the registrants of those domains that most interest you directly.

You may of course have been referring to the "domain parking" that sedo offers.

There are several other sites that offer this service e.g.
Namedrive
Fabulous
Domainsponsor

etc

You essentially buy/build a traffic domain and point it to their pages. They add some adverts from google (or whoever they choose to buy them from) and when someone clicks through an ad that is displayed from your url, you get a percentage of the revenue.
