Can anyone recommend a site or sites that list the prices of recently purchased domains? My company is thinking about purchasing a domain that the owner wants 6 figures for and before we purchase this would like to compare what other domains have sold for recently. I know it will not be apples for apples, but some information would be better than none.

Ditto on DNJournal. I'd start there and go back a few years to view historical trends.
Keep in mind that many many domain deals are made that never result in a public release of data. There is a certain element of promotion in those cases where data is released, though one cannot be entirely certain who is promoting what. :)
