Help regarding switching domain names

I decided to switch my domain names around. To begin with I had www.mysite.com as my primary account and www.mysite.co.uk parked on that domain. I decided to switch them around and have the .co.uk as the primary account and park the .com on that. My host has changed the default account to the .co.uk for me.

I just have no idea what to do. I went to the website where I registered the .co.uk and changed the name servers to my hosts. Is that right?

I need to set up a 301 redirect from the .com address to the .co.uk... can anyone tell me how to do this? It's really a bit confusing so any help is appreciated.
