One of my domains, ( i was running a simple free directory service ) stopped working yesterday and it started displaying the registrar's parking page.

I have emailed them on their suport email but there has been no reply.

I checked nameservers that still point to my servers. The control panel of domains is working and show my nameserver but the site displayed is their parking page.

What could be this... and why could they have done so.

More information would help.

What did you do to "check the name servers"?

Is the domain registration paid up to date?

Are you otherwise in complete compliance with whatever agreement you have with the domain registrar?

The nameservers are ok. Everything seems ok. But it is just not getting on the site. The domain is abotu 4 months old, and paid up.

Worse is, there had been no email, not even a reply from the registrar.

I guess it was a mistake to get a domain from a small time registrar. There is just one email address for support.

I called them on phone ( long distance ) but couldnt even reach a satisfactory suport person.

I have two domains with this registrar company, in the same account. One is working fine , and the other is showing the registrar's parking page.

I am not sure about the complaince, but the site had been runnign for 4 months now, and i guess it would be complaint. It is a simple free directory, open to all. No revenue model. A third level ccltd domain.

I tried to shift this domain to another registrar today, buy realised that i need a secret transfer code, so I emailed to the registrar to send me the code ( it is not there in the control panel, as it should be ), but no reply .
