If you are really serious of your biz, then go for all gTLDs and ccTLDs of your country.
Totally agree, after all, the cost for four domain names is not that much, assuming you were also considering .org.
There's no point in going for org.uk etc if you're not a charity.
To protect my interests I also have .biz and .info but unfortunately not .eu. Total cost for these six is less than USD 70.00 per annum which is nothing to safeguard your on-line presence.
