Registrant contact for a .co.uk

How do I know who it is?

Hi

I am trying to figure out who would be down as the "registrant contact" for a co.uk domain name. (not the actual email address just where the information comes from)

Will this be the email address that is entered into Nominet's Registrant Online system or is it the contact email that the Registration Agent holds?

Anyone know where this info is pulled from?

All the Registrant data, with the exception of the Registrant name, can openly be modified by the domain's tag holder, with the core WHOIS information, held by Nominet, being updated accordingly.

It's good practice for the Registrant information to accurately reflect the Registrant, including a contact e-mail address; quite often however, the contact details on display are those of the tag holder, including their e-mail address, so the accuracy of this information can't be taken for granted.
