I know many new computer users don't know how to use search and use this tactic (my wife included), but what kind of traffic is to be expected in relation to keyword popularity.
My guess is that such knowledge is the kind of "hard earned knowledge" that is not to be given away freely. Why? Because that type of info is then used in making decisions about how much to bid for a domain that it dropping, what the domains value in the aftermarket might be, etc.
That said, I'll give your question a try by reference to a few domains I own, without specific reference to the exact domains. (I haven't run a test on my entire collection to evaluate the correlation.)
Based upon a quick check I'll suggest the following answer.
"It depends."
1A. Domain extension: .com, etc.
1B. Number of words in domain/keyword or keyword phrase.
1C. For multiple word domains "how often is that exact phrase searched"?
2. Brevity of domain/keyword.
3. Is domain a "popular" keyword? Popularity might result in a period of intense search with a long tail drop off.
4. Seasonal effects: Are searchers looking for keyword in May-August (real estate) or in Sept-Dec (holiday gifts). Season effects Ovt numbers.
5. Level of expectation that the keyword is likely to correspond to an authority/official website. (I have some keyword .Orgs that fit this nicely, as the expectation of the searcher is likely "to find an industry organization for this keyword industry. There is, IMHO, a .Org effect at work in certain realms.)
So, the correlation varies widely, based upon my small sample set and unless you take a very large sample set for domains sharing multiple commonalities it will be hard to define precise predictors for DomainA.tld versus DomainB.tld.
Althought Overture+ext has some value, the Ovt numbers aren't nearly as useful as actual server analysis of the source of traffic for a given domain.
I know that doesn't answer your exact question, certainly not about any particular domain, but hopefully it gives you a framework for conducting further research or for evaluating - somewhat - any particular domain.
