Finding domains that are going to expire soon, BUT

still have content on them.

Is there such a service? I have been looking through snapcheck, namewinner, etc. all day. But even if I search for domains that will expire in the next 2 months I just get parked domains or domains that are NOT in any SE index.

I am looking for a site that still has some content on it(i.e. still in the major SE indexes), but that has just been neglected. Thus hopefully I could persuade the owner to part with it. Trolling the SERP's is ridiculously fruitless and am wondering if there is any service out there to help.

Thanks much.

1. Haven't come across such a public service.

2. The big boys/girls have worked this out to a science. They don't play nice as they want what you want.

3. Start with getting the zone files whereever and however you can. The expiration dates, even of old zone files, is useful for mining.

4. You might try using the various services to target natural keyword domains for your target markets, narrowing down your search to domains that are placed on hold status.

If and when you find a domain/site that interests you pick up the phone, if at all possible. Don't start with an email. Be honest in your statement of intentions.
