does snapnames have a public list of names with bids on them, and the bids?
I don't want others to know about a domain I'm after, and if it "pops on the radar" after the first bid I'll hold off until the day before or so....

It's only public to those who placed a snap on the particular domain - so that you can bid accordingly or sit back in amazement.

good luck with snapnames if you do bid on a domain. I've had a lot of luck there with mine.

after the first day it went to $300, then with 2 hours left it went to $1500 and then through the roof to $7000+...

Yup it's usually people who know what a domain is worth or get a name appraised. Then they know exactly what they are willing to bid for and ramp up to their price in the remain last minutes.

I got a $7000 domain from Snapnames... I wonder if you are talking about my domain.
